This was cheaper, and seems overbuilt, which is why I wanted it. It may be smaller than my other one, it’s 1L, this is 530mL, but water that stays cold and doesn't taste gross from plastic will be nice

The taste of plastic can really ruin things. I was addicted to this mint green tea, which was sold in a glass bottle. Then out of nowhere they switched to plastic bottles. The appeal was lost completely.

Can’t go wrong with a Stanley. They’ve been selling variations of that design since 1915.

18 ounces is worthless for me, I use a 48oz nalgene and empty it in a few hours. Id love one of those 64oz yeti but $100 is literally insane.

It bothers me when breweries and vendors do tasters for drinks in plastic cups, everything just tastes gross. Plus, even with my BPA-free water bottle, who knows what else is in it that leaches out into the water as it sits in the car, in the sun all day....may be paranoid, but I prefer glass or metal for that reason too

Same people that made my tape measure?

Yeti is worth it, I promise.

I’m near a tap often enough that it shouldn’t be a problem, but we’ll see...it was only $20, so no big deal if I need something bigger. $100 is crazy for a water bottle

I'm not sure if it's the same Stanley, would be cool if it is

My Dad has had Stanley Thermos for about 3o years and still uses it for coffee. Money well spent.

Yeti is great if you can stomach the price. I have several I got as gifts.

They look pretty excellent, one of the Ramblers will probably be in consideration if this winds up being too small. Stanley has a lot of good looking stuff in general, bigger water bottles included

Good stuff! At least their thermos is. It can keep coffee warm ALL day.

I have the small, medium, and large tumblers. I also have the colster. I did a review on the colster. It’s amazing for cans. It’s so so for bottles. Doubles (triples?) as a tumbler.

My gf left hers in the car with some coffee. It was still warmer than ambient temp the next day over 24 hours later

I still cannot look past the price. However if they are on sale on Black Friday I may tell my gf I want one for Christmas. Hooray for long term thinking!

I use my colster for everything. I put a bottle in it and 20 minutes later in direct sunlight at 98 degrees, still ice cold. Also, I’ll put ice in my rambler at 8 in the morning and it’ll still have half the ice at 8 at night

The biggest thing with my Yetis is that theh don’t sweat. I work in an office and when papers get set on my water bottle spots it never ends well. Yeti is totally worth the price.

It’s actually closer links to Morgan Stanley, as that was William’s son.

There’s no relation to the tools company. Still a cool company. I have a coffee mug, a thermos for hot/cold lunch and a large thermos for coffee from them. They work for hours. It’s great.

Depends on the bottle for me. Skinny bottles are no better than regular koozies but fatter ones that seal do well.

All but my colster have been gifts. I may try a similar off brand to see if it's as good or if yeti truly justifies the price.

I keep getting these adds on Facebook about a Yeti ripoff brand. However they focus on coolers with slightly different dimensions I believe.
